A Unique Honor

In 2011, I joined with a group of experienced program design and delivery professionals to create the year-long Men's Leadership Institute. Based on the 15-year success of the Women's Vision Leadership Institute, an offering of The Women's Vision Foundation, the men's program was a response to client demand that the Foundation provide a leadership development experience for men with similar life-changing impact as the women's program. Launched in 2012, the Men's Leadership Institute has now graduated four classes of successful leaders.
2014 was a big year. The Women's Vision Foundation became The Leadership Investment and the Men's Leadership Institute became The Leadership Ascent for Men. But, the most notable achievement of the year was The Leadership Ascent programs for men and women winning, for The Leadership Investment, First Place in the Non-Profit Organization category of the 2014 Leadership 500 Excellence Awards, sponsored by HR.com.
I am proud to have been the chair of The Leadership Ascent for Men, and of the contributions it made through the excellence of this exceptional leadership development experience.
